What is "collaborative, human-centered" consulting?

After more than 30-years as an arts professional and 17 years as a consultant to the arts and culture sector, I've learned that my approach is collaborative. I work best when I work with my client as a team creating outcomes that support the organization's mission and goals with a human-centered approach.

 

Human-centered work prioritizes employee wellness as a strategy for productivity and outcomes.

 

It considers the impacts of decision-making on people not just performance.

Organizational development and planning that significantly engages all internal stakeholders in setting goals and objectives has a better chance of achieving desired outcomes.

When people see themselves in the organization and feel that they matter above all else- whether they are employees, donors, or audience members - they are more likely to be loyal and enthusiastic.

Creating human-centered organizations in all their complexity is an intentional act, a considered investment and the way of the future.
